Thailand reopening without quarantine 

Following a government meeting on 26 March 2021, a plan has been announced to open up Thailand to vaccinated travellers without the need for quarantine. The plan will take place in phases. -What you need to know before you visit Phuket Thailand during COVID-19

The main requirements for overseas tourists are:

  1. Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required (both jabs)

  2. Obtain a Certificate of Entry (CoE) before departure

  3. Travel insurance with Covid-19 cover

  4. Download the Thailand Plus tracking app before departure and upload the required information

  5. Must fly directly to Phuket International Airport*

    (*From the end of April 2021, passengers may be allowed to transit via Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport. Awaiting full details. Updates will be added here when confirmed.)

  6.  Present a negative PCR test result (issued no longer than 72 hours before departure)

  7.  Covid-19 test on arrival

  8.  Stay on Phuket for a minimum of 7 days and can then travel around Thailand

Once arrived at Phuket International Airport, overseas tourists will be required to undergo Covid-19 screening (including PCR tests). Tourists will also be required to download a track and trace application. If travel with UME Travel, we will assist you to prepare the documents to enter Thailand. On arrival, everything will be prepared well. Guide will meet you at the airport, our professional guide knows how to make your holiday unforgettable.

Plan for opening other destinations in the following months, from 1 October 2021, vaccinated travellers can visit Chiang Mai, Ko Samui, Krabi, Pattaya and Phang Nga without having to quarantine on arrival. For further information, please contact our travel advisors.
