Day 1 - Welcome to Bali!
Om Swastiastu! Welcome to Bali! Upon arrival at Denpasar Airport, Your English Speaking Tour Guide will be waiting for you at the main gate, holding the signboard with your name. After a warm welcome, the guide will take you directly to your hotel for check-in. During the transfer, your guide will give you some brief information about your hotel, its surroundings, and about Bali – he will explain your program for the following days and set up it's the timing at your convenience. Check-in at your hotel and rest of the time is at leisure to explore this beautiful Island on your own.
Day 2 - Bedugul & Singaraja
In the mountains, vegetation changes and you'll see cabbages, maize and potatoes. Higher still, the countryside is alpine with mosses, creepers and ferns. Visit Candi Kuning fruit and flower market with its exotic wild orchids, roses and even strawberries!
In Bedugul, an attractive mountain resort located 850 meters above sea level, serene Lake Beratan fills the ancient crater of Mount Batukaru and the local people honor the goddess of the lake at a temple built on small strip of land.
Your next stop is a lush rainforest, where you'll take a pleasant stroll to Gitgit Waterfall. Continue with a visit to the old town of Singaraja, Bali's former capital city.End your tour with a return trip back through the magnificent scenery of Bali, eventually reaching your hotel.
Day 3 - Ubud Trekking & Traditional Massage Experience
Our morning trekking in Ubud will start at the charming village of Tegalalang. It is the location of one of the most popular images of Bali, the terraced rice fields.
Enjoy an essentially short trek about 1.5 – 2 hours that provides compelling insights into Ubud culture and nature. Taking a long deep breath of fresh air and see the morning local activities, farmers do their rice fields with many little birds chirping along.
Continue to drive back to the center of Ubud to visit the Royal Palace of Ubud, the beautiful architecture of Bali. The last stop is at Spa, a haven for personal wellness. Refresh yourself with one-hour Balinese Massage.
Day 4 - Mengwi Temple, Monkey Forest & Tanah Lot Temple
On this tour you will take journey into the countryside by coach and make a stop to take a short walk (approx. 300 meters) through Scenic Rice Paddies. Cultivated in unique Balinese style, surrounded by coconut trees and tropical horticultural plants including sweet potatoes and tapioca. At the end of your stroll, relax in a Balinese pavilion and sample traditional Indonesian fried tapioca and sweet potato together with mineral water, tea or coffee.
After leaving the village of Gulingan, you will drive along to the Royal Temple of Mengwi - Pura Taman Ayun. Dating from 1634, this picturesque complex surrounded by a moat with multi-roofed meru shrines and intricately carved wooden gates.
You will then proceed to the sacred Monkey Forest, a cluster of towering trees which is home to hundreds of monkeys.
Last stop is Tanah Lot, famous in Bali as the Sunset Temple. Experience the sunset beyond the black lava towers of the sacred 16th century temple, built on a lava rock 200 meters off shore.
Day 5 - Anika Balinese Cooking Class
Our hands-on English classes will teach you how to prepare exquisite dishes. From satay, grilled fish and curries to black rice pudding dessert. If you are interested in learning how to prepare Balinese signature dishes but do not have too much time to dedicate to it, consider to join our class. With the assistance of our professional cooking teachers, prepare a complete menu based on regional recipes of 9 main dishes and dessert. Prepare Balinese dishes, accompanied by traditional drinks of hibiscus tea and Balinese rice wine.
Day 6 - Uluwatu Sunset Kecak Dance & Jimbaran Seafood Dinner
After hotel pickup by our guide approximately at 16.00pm, you’re driven along the winding shoreline to Uluwatu Temple, located among the southern cliffs of the Bukit Peninsula, whose dramatic precipices rise almost 330 feet (100 meters) from the Indian Ocean. Majestically perched on the edge of a steep promontory, the small temple dates back to the 10th century and is counted among six temples most revered by the Balinese people.
With a beautiful ocean sunset as your backdrop, enjoy a kecak dance with traditional Balinese movements and chants performed in a circle around a blazing torch.
Afterward, continue on to an expansive beach in Jimbaran Bay for a delicious barbecue dinner. Dine under the stars as you’re served a seafood platter including prawns, grilled fish, squid and clams, accompanied by rice, spinach and sambal (spicy Indonesian sauce).Your 4-hour experience ends with drop-off at your hotel.
