Day 2 - Damnoen Saduak Floating Market & Grand Palace
Today, you will experience an early morning trip along the bustling Chao Phraya river and the quiet canals in a long-tail boat to enjoy scenes of life by the water. A stop will be made at the Wat Arun or Temple of the Dawn, which is located at Thonburi on the western bank of the Chao Phraya River. When King Taksin settled his Capital at this place, they used Wat Arun as a Royal. In the 19th Century, King Rama II decided to extend it and raise the main tower by 64 meters. The big Prag is fully covered by multicolor Chinese porcelain pieces fitted in cement. Then continue to visit The Royal Grand Palace, the nation's landmark and the most revered royal monument. You will see the Palace, which is used for many different occasions, and you will see The Coronation Hall, the Funeral Hall, the Royal Guest House, and the mysterious, famous Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), the most revered Buddha image in Thailand. Lunch at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel. The afternoon is free at your leisure.
Most temples & palaces in Thailand are sacred places, you'll need to respect the strict dress code in place. You'll need to wear pants or a dress/skirt that extends well past your knees, and a top that fully covers your shoulders. (No shorts, mini-skirts, short skirts, tight-fitting trousers, tights, see-through shirts, culottes or quarter-length trousers, sleeveless shirts or vests Sandals (without ankle or heel straps), etc.
The Grand Palace does offer a clothes rental service in which you can borrow some stylish trousers and/or tops for a refundable 200 baht deposit from an office near the entrance. Hang onto your claim ticket, however, as you will need it to get that deposit back.
The heat in Bangkok is no joke and, inside the Grand Palace grounds, you'll find it almost unbearable. You absolutely must take a hat or even an umbrella with you, to shield you from the sun (and your kids). We also strongly recommend packing sunscreen and wearing clothing tha
Day 3 - Death Railway & Erawan Waterfall
This morning, our private guide and driver will pick you up and drive 2.5 hours from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi. Your first stop will be at the Don Rak War Cemetery, you will learn about the history of the 6,982 Allied POWs who perished during the construction of the Thai-Burma Railway.

After having learned about the basic historical knowledge of Kanchanaburi, you will visit the world-famous bridge over the River Kwai. The waterfall consists of 7 plateaus and you can hike to the highest level through a small jungle path. Possible to swim in the clear water with fish around you. Be sure to bring a swimsuit and towel if you are eager for a dip!

The Opium Museum near the viewpoint of the golden triangle was built to educate people about the dangers of the drug through an entertaining exhibition that traces the history of opium from its first use 5,000 years ago to current issues of drug abuse and addiction. Many publications regard it as one of the best museums in Thailand.
Chiang Rai's close proximity to Laos makes it easy to visit this mysterious country. You will cross the Mae Kong River into Laos to witness local village life (take your passport). You can walk around the local market where you will have free time to browse and perhaps pick up a few bargains. Return to the Thai side of the Mae Kong River for lunch with a river view before leaving for the Doi Tung Royal Palace and Garden (Mae Fah Luang Garden), Doi Tung was once a secluded area in the heart of the Golden Triangle-a leading region of illicit world opium production. The watershed area was denuded by slash-and-burn cultivation, and further accelerated by opium growing. After the Princess Mother's first visit to Doi Tung, She announced"I will reforest Doi Tung".The Princess Mother decided to improve the conditions of Doi Tung, socially, economically, and environmentally. She demonstrated her commitment by building her home in Doi Tung, which is what we called Mae Fah Luang Garden.

The outside is gorgeous, but the inside is even more spectacular with beautiful paintings and a huge white Buddha in the center. Your second stop is The 'Black House', known as 'Baan Dam' in Thai. Baan Dam is Thawan Duchanee's artful portrayal of hell. The opaque decor and dead animals adorning each room make Duchanee's estate the complete opposite of the White Temple, the glimpse of heaven designed by his teacher Chalermchai Kositpipat. Although off the beaten track, the Black House is not something to be overlooked. Then continue to Wat Rong Khun or 'The White Temple', blending traditional Buddhist art with contemporary themes.
