Day 1 - Welcome to Singapore!
Today you will fly to Singapore. On arrival, your private guide will accompany you for your hotel check-in.
Your Singapore Turf Club experience starts with hotel pickup. When you arrive at the club, make your way to the air-conditioned Victory Lounge, a VIP spot where you can enjoy amenities not available in the general-admission grandstands. Purchase drinks or food from the full-service bar and restaurant (own expense), relax at a selected table with personal TV screens for an up-close view of the race and place your bets at a private betting counter.
Horse races take place on Friday evenings when you can watch the thoroughbred action under bright lights, as well as Sunday afternoons. This is a great way to experience another side of Singapore, where horse racing started in 1842. The Turf Club has become a prominent fixture on the international racing circuit since it moved to this section of Singapore, Kranji, in 1999. With a price tag of more than $500 million and modern technology like the glass-sided horse walk, which goes through the grandstand and joins the parade ring to the track, the 200-acre (81-hectare) venue is one of the world’s premier racecourses. Accolades include a Recognition Award from the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects for its ‘whimsical’ design, which includes the El-Toro Zoysia grass track. When the racing is over, your experience ends with a hotel drop-off.
Day 2 - Cooking Class & Highlights of Singapore
One of the world’s foodie hotspots, Singapore is known for a diverse culinary scene that ranges from street-food stalls to high-end gourmet eateries. Its cuisine takes in influences from Malay, Chinese, Indian, and British cultures, creating vibrant food heaven.
Upon arrival at your cooking class with your fellow chefs-in-training, put on an apron, and get to work with your experienced instructors. During the step-by-step lesson, learn how to prep and cook three dishes, such as chicken satay or laksa (noodle soup), while your mouth waters from the enticing aroma of spices and seasonings. When you’re finished cooking, sit down in the dining area to enjoy your creations with your class members in a relaxed, informal atmosphere that will be the cultural highlight of your stay in Singapore.
This half-day tour starts with a pick up from your hotel at 9am, or you can propose a preferred time.
Firstly we will head to Chinatown, Chinatown is a subzone and ethnic enclave located within the Out ram district in the Central Area of Singapore. Featuring distinctly Chinese cultural elements, Chinatown has had a historically concentrated ethnic Chinese population.
We then go on to National Orchid Garden, The National Orchid Garden, located within the Singapore Botanic Gardens, was opened on 20 October 1995 by Singapore's Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew. The Garden is located on the highest hill in the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Providing a place for 60,000 orchid plants - consisting of 1000 species and more than 2,000 hybrids - is the three hectares of carefully landscaped slopes.
Then move on to Little India, an diverse ethnic district of Singapore. It is located east of the Singapore River—across from Chinatown, located west of the river—and north of Kampong Glam. Both areas are part of the urban planning area of Rochor. Little India is commonly known as Tekka in the local Tamil community. There is a lot to learn here from its historical beginnings to its modern-day place in a more cosmopolitan society.
Then stop for a view at Marina Bay and photo op of the Merlion statue, Singapore’s mythological figure that’s half-fish, half-lion. Finally, we go on to the Gardens by the Bay. Once we complete your tour we take you back to your hotel.

The Marina Bay Sands was expensive but spectacular, fabulous restaurants, excellent staff. The infinity pool was a great experience, wonderful view.Would recommend to book this 3 days tour with UME Travel, expecially the Singapore Turf Club Hourse Racing. Having been to Singapore many time with work colleagues this was one tour we wanted to “tick” off. Pick up was in time and the guide provided some background on the Singapore Turf Club en route. Arrived to be ushered into the owners longe with from row table for 7. Food and drink was good and very well priced. Many beers and food cost us A$350. Racing was fast and efficient with minimal time between races on an 8 race card.
Do a short trip to Singapore with a visit to the Singapore Turf Club is a must. Our guide was engaging and informative on our ride out to the track though, filling us in on Singapore culture and horse racing history of the area. The area we sat in was very nice. You have your own TV for close-ups, and a great view of the track from an air conditioned lounge area. Our seats were quite nice and we had access to plenty of bet stations, often with no line. Food & drink are not included, but we found buckets of beer to be a good deal compared to Singapore alcohol prices. Since it was a private tour, and there was just the 2 of us, the guide let us stay as long as we wanted (until the last race). it's a lot of fun!
Great day at races. Picked up from Hotel and arrived 25 minuts before first race and departed after 8th race. Minimum bet is 5, so for a win and place is 10. Winnings is also shown for that minimum 5. Made some great friends. Food was reasonabled priced and yum. If you wanted any food or drinks, simply press the service button at your table. We were in group of 6. Sean our host was very funny.
Prompt pick up, informative driver.A pleasant, relaxed experience.
The Marina Bay Sands had featured in so many of our holiday photographs that it seemed only right to go up it to check out the view. We went during the day so there were no queues. There were lots of helpful staff and the superfast lift was impressive as was the hotel itself. The actual view that day was impaired by a slight mist but we were still able to see all the land marks. It is a beautiful building and although I took photographs it is the ones of the building rather than the photographs I took from it that will go in the family album. The bar next to the viewing platform was very loud which we found a bit annoying.
View from the top of Marina Bay Sands hotel was really neat -- could see almost all of Singapore!!
We started our honeymoon with a 2 nights stopover at Marina Bay Sands and I must say that the entire period spent there was delightful! Very good tour und a perfect guide!! Lot of fun, very interesting stops and a top service! Thank you very much!
We spent the day with David and thoroughly enjoyed it! He was the best tour guide we had throughout our stay in Asia. He told us all about Singapore and took us to a museum that showed us the layout and future plans of Singapore. We were able to alter our tour to fit our needs.
The tour was very personalized to what we wanted to see. The vehicle was clean and new and supplied drinking water and umbrellas to each guest and since it was raining in the morning that was very helpful. The guide took us to places that we would avoid the rain and was very knowledgeable of the city and places that the regular visitor would not see. Spoke very good English and friendly. Parking in Singapore is very tough but the driver was there to pick us up after each stop. Very courteous and drove well. I would surely recommend this tour.
The room was amazing with a beautiful view over the city. Very big and comfortable. The hotel has 3 restaurants, in which you have the opportunity to have breakfast and the other meals. The pool on the rooftop is wonderful, you feel like a king. Thank you!
