Day 1 - International Arrival, Hanoi
Welcome to Vietnam! On arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and driver and transfer to hotel in the center of Hanoi. The rest of the day is at leisure. You might go outside to have a little adventure in the city on your own.
Day 2 - Hanoi City Tour
In the morning, visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh House on Stilt, One Pillar Pagoda, Hoa Lo prison and Temple of Literature (the first university in Hanoi). After lunch, you will visit Museum of Ethnology and take a rickshaw ride through the Old Quarter about 1 hr. Then pay a visit to Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple. The tour comes to an end by enjoying a Water Puppet Show to learn more about Vietnamese traditional culture.
Day 3 - Hanoi-Halong Bay
After breakfast, you will take a private transfer for about 3 hrs to Halong City, where you will begin your one and a half days' Halong Bay cruise. You will board the tradtional Vietnamese junk in the afternoon and cruise around the Halong Bay's limestone islets and caves doted the sea and see the sun set over the clam waters at the deck. Enjoy a wonderful dinner at evening. All meals are included during your stay on board. There are also a variety of optional activities waiting for you. Such as swimming, kayaking, diving...etc.
Day 4 - Halong Bay-Hanoi-Hue
Wake up early this morning to catch the sunrise over the bay. Continue cruising and you can choose either kayak or traditional rowing boat to around discovering local life on the waters. Disembark at Tuan Chau International Passenger Port at around 11:00, where your guide and driver will wait you and drive you back to Hanoi Airport (about 4hrs) to take the afternoon flight to Hue. Upon arrival, you're greeted by your local guide and driver and escort you to the hotel.
You’re free to explore the city of Hue on your own. You can take a walk on the cobbled paths in the Imperial Citadel, and discover some former glory of the country’s royalty in the Forbidden Purple City. You can also stroll in the Dong Ba Market to get a taste of the local civil life.
Day 5 - Hue-Hoi An
After breakfast, drive from Hue to Hoi An (about 3.5 hrs.) You will pass abundant rice paddy fields and have a wonderful view of the coast and Da Nang along the way to the top of Hai Van Pass. And you can also have a leisure walk on the soft white sand at Da Nang’s Non Nuoc Beach. Appreciate great sculptures in Cham Museum and climb the beautiful Marble Mountains. In the afternoon you might like to explore the charming town of Hoi An on your own.
Day 6 - My Son Sanctuary & Hoi An City Tour
Take a drive out to the ancient Cham ruins at My Son in the morning. Admire this unique beautiful sanctuary world of a series of Hindu temples surrounded by the mighty jungle. Return to Hoi An after lunch. Visit the Chinese Temple which reflects Chinese influences on Vietnam's architecture. Take a walk on the distinctive Japanese Bridge features Japanese architectural. At last, you will visit the well kept and restored former Vietnamese merchants’ houses. The rest of the day is free for leisure.
Day 7 - Hoi An-Da Nang-Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)
Today, drive from Hoi An to Da Nang, then fly to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your local guide and driver and they will escort you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.
Day 8 - Cu Chi Tunnels & Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Tour
This morning set out for the incredible underground Cu Chi Tunnels, where you will learn a little more about the Vietnam war and the guerrilla tactics of the Viet Cong. Then return to Ho Chi Minh City to visit the War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Palace), the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office in French-style and Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat) absolutely nice choices for a free stroll.
Day 9 - Full Day Visit Mekong Delta
In the early morning, drive about 2.5 hrs to Mekong Delta Area. Cruising on the Mekong river for sightseeing: fish floating market, islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, Phoenix. Land on Unicorn island, take a walk on the village road, visit an orchard of tropical fruits. Visit a bee-farm, enjoy honey-tea and visit a typical house in Mekong Delta. Visit coconut candy workshop, taste fresh candies. Enjoy tropical fruits at local farm, listen to Southern traditional music. Next to land on Dragon island, transfer by cyclo or motorbike to local home. Have a homemade lunch and enjoy cooking time with some dishes such as “Banh Xeo” (Vietnamese crepe); Spring Rolls.... with the owners. After lunch, return to boat station. Transfer back to Saigon. End of tour at your hotel.
Day 10 - Ho Chi Minh City-Bangkok
สวัสดีค่ะ Sawasdee ka!Welcome to Thailand! On arrival in Bangkok, Your guide will be ready to welcome you at the arrival hall, and transfer to your hotel with a private car and driver. Your guide will help you with luggage and hotel check-in, and ensure your arrival in Thailand is worry-free.
The rest of day is arranged on your own. You may need some time to relax and recover from the long-distance flight or possibly from jet-lag. If you feel like going for a walk and checking out places nearby, feel free to ask your guide for recommendations for good dining or places to see.
Day 11 - Damnoen Saduak Floating Market & Grand Palace
This early morning you will head out to Maeklong Railway Market (also known as Rom Hub Market). It has a train running through the middle of it several times a day. Right down the middle and close enough to touch. Only in Thailand! Marvel at each seller quickly moves their wares via ingenious sets of easily-movable containers to avoid the coming train, once the train has passed, it’s back to business as usual.Your second stop is Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, one of the Thailand’s most famous attractions.Day in and day out from about 8 a.m. to about 11 a.m. the Floating Market is routinely crowded with hundreds of vendors and purchasers floating in their small rowing boats selling and buying or exchanging their goods. You will have a chance to take a ride on a long tail boat to get the real sense of floating market.
After the long tail boat cruise aroud the market, you will stop at a transit point where you can choose to further explore by a 6-seat boat or stroll around by its banks (own expense).After having lunch,return to Bangkok and you will visit Wat Pho, it is one of Bangkok’s oldest and largest temples. Wat Pho was built by King Rama I about 200 years ago and houses the gigantic gold plated Reclining Buddha image. This unique image is 49 meters long and 12 meters high with beautifully inlaid mother-of-pearl soles, then your last stop is The Royal Grand Palace, the nations's landmark and the most revered royal monuments. You will see the Palace that were used for different occasions as The Coronation Hall, Funeral Hall and Royal Guest House and the mysterious famous Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), the most revered Buddha image in Thailand. Return to hotel.
Day 12 - Ayutthaya Full Day Tour
Depart for a 1.5 hour drive through Bangkok's rural outskirts to Ayutthaya History Park. Begin by visiting the Bang-Pa-In Summer Palace, located 60 kilometers north of Bangkok, an impressive architectural blend of East and West dating back to the 17th century. Continue to Ayutthaya, which was the capital of the Thai Kingdom for 417 years. The city was founded in 1350 by King U-Thong and in 1767 it was destroyed by the Burmese army. Nowadays the ruins of the former city are on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Stroll around the ruins of several ancient temples including Wat Phra Si Sanphet, a former royal temple during Ayutthaya's days of glory; Wat Mahathat, where the roots of a tree surround the head of Buddha; and if time allows, Wat Chai Wattanaram, a perfect example of Khmer architectural influence. This afternoon, board a luxury boat and enjoy a Thai buffet lunch whilst cruising back to Bangkok. Witness the daily life of the river’s inhabitants and watch the scenery change from rural to cosmopolitan transfer back to your hotel on arrival at the pier.
Day 13 - Bangkok-Phuket
After breackfast and check out from hotel, you will transfer to Bangkok airport for your internal flight to Phuket. On arrival, your private driver will take you to the hotel for check-in. After settle down,relax poolside or head to the beach.
Day 14 - Explore Phi Phi Island by Speedboat
Depart by speedboat from Boat Lagoon Marina to visit one of Thailand’s most popular natural attractions, the gorgeous Phi Phi Islands. To avoid the crowds, first visit Bamboo Island and its pristine white sand beach with emerald waters, simply perfect for swimming. Next, enjoy snorkelling off Yoong Island noted for its antler corals and colourful fish. Cruise 30min to Monkey Beach with its colony of wild macaques. Enjoy a simple local buffet lunch on arrival at Koh Phi Phi Don before taking a dip in Viking Cave on the island’s northeastern tip, known for its swifts’ nests used in Bird’s Nest Soup. Visit Maya Bay, the postcard-perfect setting made famous by the film “The Beach”, and enjoy a swim or simply relax on its white sand beach. Cruise back to Phuket and transfer to your hotel.
