After meet with your driver at your hotel lobby, we head straight to the main boat pier on Phuket (join transfer) where you will board a dedicated dive boat. This vessel will sail south in the direction of Koh Racha, one of Phuket’s most famed scuba diving spots. This is a great site if you have not dived for a while and need to get wet.
On the way to Koh Racha Yai, your scuba diving instructor will brief you what you will see and experience: this diving trip is suited for all levels with an easy grade of diving to see a good variety of marine wildlife. All equipment will be on board and with patience and lots of fun you will head into the water upon arrival at the dive site.
Koh Racha is one of the stunning tropical islands surrounding Phuket, located south of the Pearl of the Andaman and has gained a reputation of being one of the most suitable dive sites for both beginners and experienced scuba and snorkel enthusiasts. Surrounding the islands, one can truly admire the underwater beauty and with any luck, you will encounter a large variety of sea life. It is uncommon to see – outside the hard coral around Koh Racha - moray eels, nudibranch, stingrays and the occasional octopus. Fish of course will be there in abundance. Lunch will be included on board the boat. After making 2 dives with your instructor, you will head back to the Phuket mainland and back to your hotel where you will arrive at around 4:00 pm.
Dive Sites Around Racha Yai: Bungalow bay / Siam Bay / Homerun reef / Bay 1 and 2 (Staghorn Reef) / Bay 3 (Lucys Reef) / Bay 4 и 5 (Waterfall Wall). During the day tours, we do 2 or 3 dives, depending on the direction you choose and the weather conditions. Also, when choosing a tour, pay attention to whether the diving conditions correspond to the level of your license.
