Day 1 - Arrive in Bangkok
สวัสดีค่ะ Sawasdee ka!Welcome to Thailand! On arrival in Bangkok, your private guide will be ready to welcome you at the arrival hall with our warm welcome kits. You will be transferred to your hotel with a private car and driver. Your guide will help you with luggage and hotel check-in and ensure your arrival in Thailand is worry-free.
The rest of the day is arranged on your own. You may need some time to relax and recover from the long-distance flight or possibly from jet-lag. If you feel like going for a walk and checking out places nearby, feel free to ask your guide for recommendations for good dining or places to see.
Day 2 - Essential Bangkok & Thai Dinner by Chao Phraya River
Today you will enjoy a private guided tour of Bangkok. Start with the dazzling, spectacular Grand Palace. It's undoubtedly the city's most famous landmark, where you will find Wat Phra Kaew there (the temple of the Emerald Buddha). Continue to Wat Pho, one of the oldest, most extensive and famous temples in Bangkok, home to an immense reclining Buddha statue. After lunch, walk to the pier and take a shuttle boat to Wat Arun, also called "The Dawn Temple", which belongs to an immense stupa.
After the tour, you will enjoy a Thai dinner at a scenic riverfront Thai-house restaurant, where you can overlook the legendary Chao Phraya River and the mystical temple of dawn.
Wear something light and long when you visit palaces or temples. You'll need to wear pants or a dress/skirt that extends well past your knees, and a top that fully covers your shoulders. If you don't, the Grand Palace does offer clothes rental service in which you can borrow some stylish trousers and/or tops for a refundable 200 baht deposit from an office near the entrance. Hang onto your claim ticket, however, as you will need it to get that deposit back.
Day 3 - Cycling & Spa
Today you will be picked up at the hotel to the meeting point at River City by private van without English speaking guide. Meet at the River City Shopping Center (Si Phraya) where we start the 3 hours bicycle tour. We offer a soft drink and a short briefing about the tour. Select the appropriate bicycles according to customer preference (mountain bikes, lady bikes or hybrid). We start by exploring the bustling everyday life of Chinatown. Through narrow alleyways and winding pathways best accessed through two-wheel transport, we pass markets, local Buddhist temples, and a vast array of unique “street life”. We cross the Chao Phraya River by ferry and continue the tour in Thonburi, a former capital city of Thailand. We see some more local temples as well as a sample of a slower-paced lifestyle of urban Thais on this side of the river. A common stop in this part of the tour is King Mother Memorial Park where we can visit the museum and relax in a nice garden. Possible routes can also take us through Muslim communities as well as to a Christian church. We cross the river continue in the area behind Pak Klong Talad Flower Market back to Chinatown where we finish our tour.
After a 3 hours cycling tour, our guide will take you to seek refuge in the award-winning Oasis Spa and its sophisticated treatments. You will enjoy a 2 hours King of Oasis or Queen of Oasis package at Oasis Spa with its peaceful and beautiful“secret garden”.Take a time-out from busy to discover this hidden Oasis of serenity!
Day 4 - Authentic Bangkok!
Thai cuisine is regarded as one of the best in the world. Take part in a Sompong Thai Cooking Class and spend your day emerging on authentic Thai cooking. As part of our course instruction, we will take you to a local market sightseeing to absorb exotic local fresh fruits and vegetables. There is always an abundance of new things to see. At Sompong Original Thai Cooking School, you will find that we use only the freshest ingredients purchased on the same day. Return to the school to take part in a warm, open and interactive cooking session during which the instructor demonstrates and explains the unique narrative of each Thai dish. Next, you will get a chance to enjoy all the food that you have cooked and also take away pack if you cannot finish it.
