Day 1 - Arrival in Paro

Today you will fly to Paro. On arrival, your private guide will be ready to welcome you at the arrival hall, and transfer to your hotel with a private car and driver. Your guide will help you with luggage and hotel check-in, and ensure your arrival is worry-free.

Day 2 - Paro Heritage Wonders & Warm Local Welcome – Transfer to Thimphu

Your full-day journey in Paro begins with a visit to the iconic National Museum (Ta Dzong Fortress), where you will explore a rich collection of Bhutanese art, artifacts, and cultural exhibits that trace the country’s fascinating history. Next, head to the majestic Paro Dzong (Rinpung Dzong), a stunning fortress-monastery that exemplifies traditional Bhutanese architecture and offers breathtaking views of the valley below. Afterward, immerse yourself in Bhutanese culture with a warm and authentic welcome ceremony at a local resident's home, where you will experience the hospitality, traditions, and cuisine of the region.

Day 3 - Thimphu's Cultural Tapestry – Dzongs, Arts & Nature Encounters

Begin your day at Tashichho Dzong, a magnificent fortress and monastery that serves as the seat of Bhutan's government and spiritual leadership. Continue to the Jungshi Paper Factory, where you can observe the traditional process of handmade Bhutanese paper crafted from natural bark. Next, visit the Choki Traditional Art School, dedicated to preserving Bhutanese artistic traditions by training young artists in painting, wood carving, and sculpture. Day 4 - Himalayan Vistas – Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass

Day 5 - Punakha Valley Splendor – Hikes, Rafting & Dzong Exploration

Begin your day with a scenic hike to the Khamsum Yuelley Monastery, climbing through hillside rice fields for about 45 minutes to reach a stunning pagoda and enjoy panoramic views of the valley. Descend to the riverside for an exhilarating 2-hour rafting experience, followed by a relaxing picnic lunch on the riverbank. Day 7 - The Sacred Trek – Tiger's Nest Monastery & Paro Valley Discovery
