Day 1 - Arrive in Bali & Sunset Kecak Dance at Uluwatu & Jimbaran Bay Seafood Dinner
Om Swastiastu! Welcome to Bali! Upon arrival at Denpasar Airport, Your English Speaking Tour Guide will be waiting for you at the main gate, holding the signboard with your name. After a warm welcome, the guide will take you directly to your hotel for check-in. During the transfer, your guide will give you some brief information about your hotel, its surroundings, and about Bali – he will explain your program for the following days and set up it's the timing at your convenience. Check-in at your hotel and rest of the time is at leisure to explore this beautiful Island on your own.
After hotel pickup by our guide approximately at 16.00 pm, you're driven along the winding shoreline to Uluwatu Temple, located among the southern cliffs of the Bukit Peninsula, whose dramatic precipices rise almost 330 feet (100 meters) from the Indian Ocean. Majestically perched on the edge of a steep promontory, the small temple dates back to the 10th century and is counted among the six temples most revered by the Balinese people.
With a beautiful ocean sunset as your backdrop, enjoy a Kecak Dance with traditional Balinese movements and chants performed in a circle around a blazing torch.
Afterward, continue on to an expansive beach in Jimbaran Bay for a delicious barbecue dinner. Dine under the stars as you’re served a seafood platter including prawns, grilled fish, squid, and clams, accompanied by rice, spinach, and sambal (spicy Indonesian sauce). Your 4-hour experience ends with drop-off at your hotel.
The rest of the day is arranged on your own. You may need some time to relax and recover from the long-distance flight or possibly from jet-lag. If you feel like going for a walk and checking out places nearby, feel free to ask your guide for recommendations for good dining or places to see.
Day 2 - Taman Ayun Temple, Monkey Forest & Tanah Lot Sunset
On this tour, you will take a journey into the countryside by coach and make a stop to take a short walk (approx. 300 meters) through Scenic Rice Paddies. Cultivated in a unique Balinese style, surrounded by coconut trees and tropical horticultural plants including sweet potatoes and tapioca. At the end of your stroll, relax in a Balinese pavilion and sample traditional Indonesian fried tapioca and sweet potato together with mineral water, tea, or coffee.
After leaving the village of Gulingan, you will drive along to the Royal Temple of Mengwi - Pura Taman Ayun. Dating from 1634, this picturesque complex is surrounded by a moat with multi-roofed Meru shrines and intricately carved wooden gates.
You will then proceed to the sacred Monkey Forest, a cluster of towering trees that is home to hundreds of monkeys.
The last stop is Tanah Lot, famous in Bali as the Sunset Temple. Experience the sunset beyond the black lava towers of the sacred 16th-century temple, built on a lava rock 200 meters offshore.
Day 3 - Transfer to Ubud
You will take a private transfer to Ubud.
Day 4 - Water Temple & Kintamani
Enjoy a day exploring the highlights of central Bali. Our journey begins in the heart of Ubud at Pura Taman Saraswati, a beautiful water temple featuring classic Balinese architecture and an impressive foyer featuring ponds filled with blooming pink lotuses. Dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of learning, literature and art, the temple is well-hidden in Ubud center and the perfect starting point for our day.
We continue on to Gunung Kawi, one of Bali’s most unique archaeological sites. Gunung Kawi Temple is two rows of ancient royal tombs on the banks of the Pakerisan River overlooked by terraced rice fields. The holy Pakerisan River flows through the center of Gunung Kawi cutting the site into two separate sections with a bridge to connect one side to the other. It is believed the holy waters of the Pakerisan sanctify Gunung Kawi and the beauty of the place evokes a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere.
After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, we travel to Kintamani to enjoy spectacular views of Mount Batur. With ribbons of black lava running down from its peak to the valley below, Batur’s crater is holy and a sanctuary at the top is dedicated to a fertility goddess.
The route back to your hotel takes you to our last stop, one of Bali’s holy springs called Toya Devasya. An infinity hot spring pool sitting on the edge of Lake Batur, you’ll put on your bathers and enjoy the spiritual waters that offer an unmatched, majestic panorama of Mount Batur. This is the ultimate relaxing way to end the day.
Day 5 - White Rafting Ayung River & Visit Villages
Today, you will be transferred to Ubud. It takes approximately 1.5 hours, where you will board an air-conditioned car destined for a rafting point beside the Ayung River. You will then discover the uncharted landscapes of the Ayung River. During the journey, you will stop at the Celuk and Mas Village, famous for its gold and silver workshops. Explore the many cottage industry artisan workshops and galleries, where skilled artisans design and create stunningly intricate jewelry.

Balinese woodcarving is considered to be one of the finest in the world. For centuries woodcarvers created sculptures influenced by traditional beliefs and Hindu myths. Exploring the Mas Village, famous for its distinctive style of wood sculptures, you will find natural designs, as well as characters from Hindu mythology. Engage with expert carvers who still chisel by hand, intricate designs, and pieces, such as traditional Balinese masks used in Balinese ritual ceremonies.
Your final stop is to Ubud, the artistic heart of Bali, where many local and European artisans have set up workshops and galleries. Explore these galleries with your guide, to obtain a greater understanding of Bali's art and crafts scene and history. View traditional Balinese paintings as well as a variety of works by contemporary artists, before returning to your vehicle for your hotel.
Day 6 - Bali Swing & Ubud Palace & Art Market & Tegalalang Rice Terrace
Explore Bali on a day tour that includes one of the hottest Instagram spots in the world on this day full of breath-taking views and exciting adventure.
The first stop on the tour is to Bali Swing. A series of several different swings of varying heights, the Bali Swing overlooks a lush palm tree valley and the Agung River. Here you will be truly immersed in the Balinese jungle. If you don’t wish to partake in a swing ride, consider one of the ‘hanging nests’ that are scattered around the grounds. Wedged between two enormous palm trees, these nest-like structures serve as lookout points for the spectacular views and are perfect for enviable photoshoots.
We enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing on to central Ubud. Puri Saren Ubud, the palace of the latest King is a not-to-miss sight that features intricate Balinese design and beautiful grounds. We journey to the nearby Ubud Art Market to see more traditional Balinese crafts, where you can shop for beautiful souvenirs or simply admire the artists’ works.
As we depart from Ubud Center, our last stop of the day is Tegalalang. One of Bali’s most recognized places, Tegalalang’s famous rice terraces are one of the most picturesque and iconic scenes of the island. Take photos looking down at the breath-taking scenery or explore the fields and feel the grandeur of the area before you are returned to your hotel.
Day 7 - Paon Cooking Class & Batuan Temple
Depart from your hotel and embark on a gastronomic adventure through the city. Your first stop is at a local market where personal assistants help you choose the fresh ingredients, such as vegetables, herbs, meat, and spices that you will use for your cooking class. Next, visit a rice plantation and learn about the cultivation and preparation of this staple ingredient for all Balinese meals. While there, enjoy scenic views of the natural surroundings.
Continue your tour to Laplapan village, a traditional Balinese village, and be warmly welcomed by the local villagers. Learn the secret of preparing Balinese food with the ingredients you have chosen. Expert chefs are on hand to provide guidance and assistance throughout this Paon Bali Cooking Class. Interact with your fellow cooks and discover handy techniques as you prepare three starters, four main courses, and one Balinese dessert. After your informative cooking lesson, sit down and enjoy satisfying and delicious Balinese meals in addition to your culinary creation.
Next, you will visit is at Batuan Temple, one of the Oldest Temple in Bali. As you visit any temples in Bali, both men and women should wear a sarong, scarf, or sash tied around the waist. Sarong and sash are provided in Batuan Temple, and you can use that for free, as long as you visit the temple.
