Day 1 - Welcome to Thailand!
สวัสดีค่ะ Sawasdee ka!Welcome to Thailand! On arrival in Bangkok, Your guide will be ready to welcome you at the arrival hall, and transfer to your hotel with a private car and driver. Your guide will help you with luggage and hotel check-in, and ensure your arrival in Thailand is worry-free.
Day 2 - Grand Palace & Bangkok Temples
Today’s tour starts at 9AM. Firstly, your guide will take you to Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew. Then visit Wat Pho, one of the oldest and largest temples in Bangkok. Lunch at local restaurants near the pier for well-known local cuisines. After lunch, cross the river by public ferry to visit Wat Arun on the opposite bank of the Chao Phraya River. After the whole visiting,return to hotel.
Day 3 - Ayutthaya Ruins
Depart for a 1.5 hour drive through Bangkok's rural outskirts to Ayutthaya History Park. Begin by visiting the Bang-Pa-In Summer Palace, located 60 kilometers north of Bangkok, an impressive architectural blend of East and West dating back to the 17th century. Continue to Ayutthaya, which was the capital of the Thai Kingdom for 417 years. The city was founded in 1350 by King U-Thong and in 1767 it was destroyed by the Burmese army. Nowadays the ruins of the former city are on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Stroll around the ruins of several ancient temples including Wat Phra Si Sanphet, a former royal temple during Ayutthaya's days of glory; Wat Mahathat, where the roots of a tree surround the head of Buddha; and if time allows, Wat Chai Wattanaram, a perfect example of Khmer architectural influence. This afternoon, board a luxury boat and enjoy a Thai buffet lunch whilst cruising back to Bangkok. Witness the daily life of the river’s inhabitants and watch the scenery change from rural to cosmopolitan transfer back to your hotel on arrival at the pier.
Day 4 - Fly to Siem Reap & Tonle Sap
Have breakfast and relax at your hotel. After check out from hotel, you will set apart to the Bangkok airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap,your private guide will meet with you at airport and take you to hotel for check in. After settle down, you will visit Tonle Sap, the largest fresh-water lake in South East Asia. You will visit Kompong Phluk Floating Village, The name Kompong Phluk translates to “Harbour of Tusks”, reflecting the past trade in elephants. Kompong Phluk is a cluster of three villages of stilted houses built within the floodplain. It is an attractive small community surrounded by mangroves, virtually untouched by time or tourism. During boat trip you will explore Floating Village, High steak house in tonle sap Lake, local community, and childrent school.
Day 5 - Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat
This morning you will be picked up at your accommodation in Siem Reap to begin your unforgettable Angkor Wat Tour. You will be transferred by private car to the West Gate of Angkor Thom – undiscovered by mass tourist.Your tour will include visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Angkor Period (AD 802-1432). Visit the breathtaking Bayon Temple, one of the most popular sites in Angkor complex with over 200 giant faces carved into its 54 towers. The temple was designed to represent the 54 provinces of the Khmer Empire and it still carries a completely majestic atmosphere. You will also visit Baphuon Temple,Phimeanakas Temple,the Terrace of the Elephant,the Terrace of the Leper King,and Royal Palace Temple.
In the afternoon, you will visit Angkor Wat Temple, one of the seven wonders of the world. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. View sunset at Phnom Bakheng before heading back to your accommodation.
Day 6 - Banteay Srei & Ta Prohm Temple
If you want, you can take the early morning trip witness sunrise over Angkor Wat temple and listening singing birds over the ancient land of Angkor area, you also have the chance for a friendly talk with the monks and nuns at a nearby pagoda. After the sunrise tour, breakfast either at hotel or take away is available.
Start the day by visiting Banteay Srei Temples, nearly everyone's favorite site. The special charm of this temple lies in its compact size, remarkable state of preservation, and the excellence of it decorative carving.Continue to visit Banteay Samre, Its rose-colored sandstone walls are decorated with carvings and bas-reliefs, which are among the most accomplished Angkor has to offer.
Have lunch at a local restaurant for exotic cuisine.Ta Prohm temple and Banteay Kdei are your next stops before some leisure time in the late afternoon.
Day 7 - Fly to Ho Chi Minh City
Your private driver will escort you to Siem Reap international airport for your flight home or to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, our guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to relax.
Day 8 - Cu Chi Tunnels & Ho Chi Minh City Tour
This morning set out for the incredible underground Cu Chi Tunnels, and then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City to visit the War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Palace), the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office and Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat) absolutely nice choices for a free stroll.
Day 9 - Mekong Delta & Home Made Lunch
In the early morning, you will head out of the bustling city to Mekong Delta Area. Cruising on the Mekong river for sightseeing: fish floating market, islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, Phoenix. Land on Unicorn island, take a walk on the village road, visit an orchard of tropical fruits. Visit a bee-farm, enjoy honey-tea and visit a typical house in Mekong Delta. Visit coconut candy workshop, taste fresh candies. Enjoy tropical fruits at local farm, listen to Southern traditional music. Next to land on Dragon island, transfer by cyclo or motorbike to local home. Have a homemade lunch and enjoy cooking time with some dishes such as “Banh Xeo” (Vietnamese crepe); Spring Rolls.... with the owners. After lunch, return to boat station. Transfer back to Saigon. End of tour at your hotel.
Day 10 - Fly to Hue
You’re free to explore the city on your own until your guide comes to escort you to the airport to take the flight to Hue. You can take a break after check-in when you get to the hotel.
Day 11 - Hue City Tour
Today, tour the Minh Mang Tomb renowned for its architecture and sublime forest setting. Admire the Vietnam’s tallest and iconic seven-storey Thien Mu Pagoda by a royal dragon boat cruise on the Perfume River. After that, take a walk on the cobbled paths in the Imperial Citadel, and discover some former glory of the country’s royalty in the Forbidden Purple City. Finally, stroll in the Dong Ba Market to get a taste of the local civil life.
Day 12 - Visit Da Nang and Head to Hoi An
Today, your journey begins with a scenic drive to Hoi An (about 3 hrs), during which you can have a full view of the coast and Da Nang when driving on the top of Hai Van Pass. And you can also have a leisure walk on the soft white sand at Da Nang’s Non Nuoc Beach, appreciate great sculptures in Cham Museum and climb the beautiful Marble Mountains. You can explore the town on your own or just relax after reaching Hoi An in the afternoon.
Day 13 - Explore Hoi An and Learn to Make Lantern
Today, explore some historical sites in the small town of Hoi An, including the Japanese Bridge, the renowned Chinese Temple and Vietnamese former merchants’ houses. After that, you will learn about how to make a lantern through a visit to the home of a craftsman, exploring the authentic rural life, and you are able to keep the lantern you make as a souvenir.
Day 14 - Back to Da Nang & Fly to Hanoi
Enjoy your free time until your guide come and pick you up.You will be transferred from Hoi An to Da Nang, then fly to Hanoi.After check in, the rest of the day is free at your leisure.
Day 15 - Hanoi City Tour & Water Puppet Show
In the morning, visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh House on Stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, Hoa Lo prison and Temple of Literature (the first university in Hanoi). After lunch, you will visit Museum of Ethnology and take a rickshaw ride through the Old Quarter about 1 hr. Then pay a visit to Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple. The tour comes to an end by enjoying a Water Puppet Show to learn more about Vietnamese traditional culture.
Day 16 - Overnight Cruise on Halong Bay
After breakfast, you will take a private transfer for about 3 hrs to Halong City, where you will begin your one and a half days' Halong Bay cruise. You will board the tradtional Vietnamese junk in the afternoon and cruise around the Halong Bay's limestone islets and caves doted the sea and see the sun set over the clam waters at the deck. Enjoy a wonderful dinner at evening. All meals are included during your stay on board. There are also a variety of optional activities waiting for you. Such as swimming, kayaking, diving...etc.
Day 17 - Morning Activities & Back to Hanoi
Wake up early this morning to catch the sunrise over the bay with a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck. Continue cruising and you can choose either kayak or traditional rowing boat to around discovering local life on the waters. Disembark at Tuan Chau International Passenger Port at around 11:00, where your guide and driver will wait you and drive you back to Hanoi (about 4hrs).
Day 18 - Hello Chiang Mai!
You will have free time till our guide meets you and escorts you to airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival,your driver is waiting for you at the airport to take you by private car to your hotel. After settle down in your hotel , spend at your own leisure! Chiang Mai, with its lovely Lanna temples, charming traditions, unique food, family-friendly attractions and stunning setting is a gem in Thailand’s northern hills. There’s so much for tourists to do here, from cultural exploration to adventurous treks and food tours.
Chiang Mai is a shopping paradise, with its famous arts and crafts. Nothing beats shopping for a bargain more than in the famous Chiang Mai Night Bazaar. It is located on the east side of the old walled city, is approximately 1km long. You could find all special handicrafts and souveniers you need along the street, plus a heap of mobile food street stalls for those in need of a quick bite.
Day 19 - Half-day Elephant Volunteer
A half-day package to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary (Join Group) offers you an enjoyable opportunity to spend quality time with elephants in their natural home, as well as gain an insight into their history and behavior, and create cherished lifelong memories of their time spent with these amazing animals.
Today you will be picked up from your place of accommodation and will drive through scenic agricultural areas before arriving at the Sanctuary. There, you will meet your English-speaking guide and learn a little about the elephants, before changing into traditional Karen clothing.
After being allocated bananas and sugar cane to feed to the elephants, you will walk with your guide through the Sanctuary, where you will find free-roaming elephants and hear their individual stories. You can touch, feed, photograph, and interact with the elephants at your leisure while you learn about their lifestyle and behaviors.
After the close encounter with elephant, you will return to your hotel, the rest of the day is free at your leisure.
Day 20 - Meo Hill Tribe & Doi Suthep
Morning departure for an inspiring trip to Meo hill tribe villages, where you will observe their simple way of life which has been maintained unchanged for centuries. Interact with the villagers and your guide will work as your translator.
A relaxing drive about 1hr takes you to the Doi Suthep Mountain. Climb 309 steps (or for the less fitness-oriented, a tram is available for a small surcharge) to the top, enjoying a truly breathtaking scenery all along the way up to the top where you will find Wat Phra That, one of Northern Thailand’s most sacred temples. Have a panoramic views of the city of Chiang Mai. Return to Chiang Mai with lunch at a local restaurant en route.
Day 21 - Fly to Phuket
Morning check out and transfer to the airport for your flight from Chiang Mai to Phuket. On arrival,your private guide will accompany with you for your hotel check-in. After settle down,relax poolside or head to the beach.
