Day 1 - Welcome to Cambodia!
សួស្ដី Sua s'dei! Welcome to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Your private guide will meet with you at airport and take you to hotel for check in. In your free time in the afternoon, strolling the streets of Siem Reap and explore the city.
Day 2 - Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat
This morning you will be picked up at your accommodation in Siem Reap to begin your unforgettable Angkor Wat Tour. You will be transferred by private car to the West Gate of Angkor Thom– undiscovered by mass tourist.Your tour will include visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Angkor Period (AD 802-1432). Visit the breathtaking Bayon Temple, one of the most popular sites in Angkor complex with over 200 giant faces carved into its 54 towers. The temple was designed to represent the 54 provinces of the Khmer Empire and it still carries a completely majestic atmosphere. You will also visit Baphuon Temple,Phimeanakas Temple,the Terrace of the Elephant,the Terrace of the Leper King,and Royal Palace Temple.
In the afternoon, you will visit Angkor Wat Temple, one of the seven wonders of the world. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. View sunset at Phnom Bakheng before heading back to your accommodation.
Day 3 - Banteay Srei & Ta Prohm Temple
If you want, you can take the early morning trip witness sunrise over Angkor Wat temple and listening singing birds over the ancient land of Angkor area, you also have the chance for a friendly talk with the monks and nuns at a nearby pagoda. After the sunrise tour, breakfast either at hotel or take away is available.
Start the day by visiting Banteay Srei Temples, nearly everyone's favorite site. The special charm of this temple lies in its compact size, remarkable state of preservation, and the excellence of it decorative carving.Continue to visit Banteay Samre, Its rose-colored sandstone walls are decorated with carvings and bas-reliefs, which are among the most accomplished Angkor has to offer.
Have lunch at a local restaurant for exotic cuisine.Ta Prohm temple and Banteay Kdei are your next stops before some leisure time in the late afternoon.
Day 4 - Visit Tonle Sap & Fly to Phnom Pen
Today you will visit Tonle Sap, the largest fresh-water lake in South East Asia. After pick up from Hotel, you will visit Kompong Phluk Floating Village, The name Kompong Phluk translates to “Harbour of Tusks”, reflecting the past trade in elephants. Kompong Phluk is a cluster of three villages of stilted houses built within the floodplain. It is an attractive small community surrounded by mangroves, virtually untouched by time or tourism. During boat trip you will explore Floating Village, High steak house in tonle sap Lake, local community, and childrent school.
After the visit,your private driver will escort you to Siem Reap international airport for your domestic flight to Phnom Penh. After settle down,the rest of the day is free at your leisure, you can stroll around the streets of Phnom Penh and explore the city.
Day 5 -
Today a fullday city tour introduces you to the sights of Phnom Penh, a city that lies near the confluence of the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers.It remains a living relic of the country’s past struggles and successes.You will be transferred to Royal Palace, and visit the Silver Pagoda, National Museum and Wat Phnom. Have lunch at local restaurant before a visit to Tuol Sleng Prison Museum,a former school that served as a Khmer Rouge torture centre, and it’s estimated that more than 20,000 people were held and tortured here.The Killing Fields of Choeung Ek which tells the story of the tragic legacy of the Khmer Rouge.The Choeung Ek Memorial,home to stupa made up of some 8,000 human skulls, marking the site of the infamous Killing Fields.This was the execution ground for the torture victims of Tuol Sleng, and standing in this peaceful setting it's almost unthinkable to imagine that to date nearly 9,000 corpses have been exhumed from the area.
Day 6 - Head to Koh Kong
After breakfast you'll be picked up by your tour guide. You'll leave phnom Penh and enjoy a safe & comfortable drive along the southern coast until you reach Koh Andet Island located in Koh Kong Province (border Cambodia & Thai). Where you will enjoy Kayaking on the 4Rivers, you will stay at 4River Floating Lodge. Upon arrival there, you have the rest of day at leisure.
Day 7 - Kayaking on 4 River
Prepare yourself for a full day of new experiences.You will leaving 4 Rivers around 10am, depending on the tide, you will cruise deep into the mangroves to experience a rare glimpse of life among the fishing communities that live off the natural bounty of this watery paradise.Drinks will be served en route as you glide down the waterway to your fishing village destination where you will spend time with these shy but friendly people. While the men tend their boats, the womenfolk patiently mend their nets and children play tag and football in the narrow alleyways between the stilt houses.You will also visit the Cham (Muslim) part of the village, which is reached via a maze of small bridges.
After lunch you can make a short but comfortable climb to get an excellent panoramic view of the surrounding countryside and the ocean.Back in the boat, you will experience the pure magic of life among the mangroves and its wildlife from our boat and the kayaks. Back to your resort.
Day 8 - Back to Phnom Penh
After breakfast, your guide will escort you back to Phnom Penh city. You will take around 5–6hours from 4 Rivers.The rest of the day is free at your leisure.
Day 9 - Fly to Ho Chi Minh
Breakfast at Hotel,you will transfer to airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon your arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, our guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to relax.
Day 10 - Cu Chi Tunnels & Ho Chi Minh City Tour
This morning set out for the incredible underground Cu Chi Tunnels, and then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City to visit the War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Palace), the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office and Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat) absolutely nice choices for a free stroll.
Day 11 - Mekong Delta & Home made Lunch
In the early morning, you will head out of the bustling city to Mekong Delta Area. Cruising on the Mekong river for sightseeing: fish floating market, islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, Phoenix. Land on Unicorn island, take a walk on the village road, visit an orchard of tropical fruits. Visit a bee-farm, enjoy honey-tea and visit a typical house in Mekong Delta. Visit coconut candy workshop, taste fresh candies. Enjoy tropical fruits at local farm, listen to Southern traditional music. Next to land on Dragon island, transfer by cyclo or motorbike to local home. Have a homemade lunch and enjoy cooking time with some dishes such as “Banh Xeo” (Vietnamese crepe); Spring Rolls.... with the owners. After lunch, return to boat station. Transfer back to Saigon. End of tour at your hotel.
Day 12 - Fly to Hanoi
You will have free time till your guide escorts you to airport for your flight to Hanoi.On arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, our tour guide greets you at the airport and transfer to hotel in the center of Hanoi. Hotel checks in upon arrival, the rest of the day is yours to relax, or head out into the city for a little adventure on your own.
Day 13 - Hanoi City Tour
In the morning, visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh House on Stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, Hoa Lo prison and Temple of Literature (the first university in Hanoi). After lunch, you will visit Museum of Ethnology and take a rickshaw ride through the Old Quarter about 1 hr. Then pay a visit to Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple. The tour comes to an end by enjoying a Water Puppet Show to learn more about Vietnamese traditional culture.
Day 14 - Overnight Cruise on Halong Bay
After breakfast, you will take a private transfer for about 3 hrs to Halong City, where you will begin your one and a half days' Halong Bay cruise. You will board the tradtional Vietnamese junk in the afternoon and cruise around the Halong Bay's limestone islets and caves doted the sea and see the sun set over the clam waters at the deck. Enjoy a wonderful dinner at evening. All meals are included during your stay on board. There are also a variety of optional activities waiting for you. Such as swimming, kayaking, diving...etc.
Day 15 - Morning Activities & Back to Hanoi
Wake up early this morning to catch the sunrise over the bay with a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck. Continue cruising and you can choose either kayak or traditional rowing boat to around discovering local life on the waters. Disembark at Tuan Chau International Passenger Port at around 11:00, where your guide and driver will wait you and drive you back to Hanoi (about 4hrs).
