Day 1 - Welcome to Cambodia!

Welcome to Yangon! Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and driver and transferred to your hotel.The rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 2 - Yangon Sightseeing

In the morning our guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to train station for a small tour with the circular Yangon train. During the trip you will have a unique perspective on the daily life of the city and its surroundings. Then we will disembark the train at Kyimyin Daing station and visit to local food market.

And then continue visit to the Bogyoke Aung San Market (Closed on every Monday), where you have a chance to browse for Myanmar crafts. After that visit to Mahabandoola Park to take a photo shot for a panoramic view of city, and then you have a chance to see the colonial building in Yangon downtown area.

Finally we will go to Kandawgyi Lake for a number of scenic photo opportunities on what is known in Myanmar as the ‘Royal Lake’ before we visit Shwedagon Pagoda, the most important religious structure in Myanmar and a point of pilgrimage for Buddhists across the globe.

Day 3 - Head to Kyaikhtiyo & Visit Golden Rock

Early morning drive to Kyaikhtiyo (about 5 hours’ drive) in the Mon state, site of the famous ‘Golden Rock’. It is a large boulder, which appears delicately balanced, supposedly by the assistance of a well place hair of the Buddha, on the edge of a cliff near the top of a mountain. It is one of the most revered Buddhist shrines. We take a local truck from the base camp to the beginning of the trail from where it is a 45-minute walk to the top.

Enjoy Golden Rock sightseeing which includes spectacular mountain views and pilgrims at the Golden Rock. Then descending the mountain for transport back to base camp and driving to Hpa An. If the time permits we take a sightseeing features Bayintnyi Cave and Kawgoon cave which is very historical cave in Hpa-An. Check in at hotel in Hpa An and enjoy your free time.

Day 4 - Hpa An Sightseeing

Breakfast at hotel and visit to Mt. Zwekabin which is one of the most sacred mountains in the country and there is a pagoda that sits atop it. At the base of the mountain are 1,080 Buddha images that are hand-carved into the rock. To get to the top it will take 2 hours, hiking up a massive stairway, but of course the view from on top is rewarding as you will be greeted with unobstructed views of the surrounding area. It is said that encased in the pagoda is a strand of Buddha’s hair. Returning to the bottom we visit the beautiful Kyauk Kalap, with its unique hill top pagoda and visit to Saddan Cave.

And then you will enjoy the stunning sunset at Shwe Yin Myaw Pagoda after taking some refreshment at hotel. And then drive back to hotel to take a good rest.

Day 5 - Back to Yangon and Visit Pagodas en Route

After breakfast we will drive back to Yangon, on the way to Yangon, we can visit interesting monasteries and pagodas in Bago, highlights included Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Shwetharlyaung Pagoda and Kyaikpun Pagoda.

Day 6 - Fly to Bagan

Transfer to Yangon airport for your flight to Bagan, which is one of the most significant ancient religious cities in South-East Asia. As the capital of Myanmar during the 9th century, Bagan is defined by the thousands of pagodas and temples. Many of them are hundreds of years old that fill the broad valley.

You will continue your sightseeing to Bagan’s distinctive pagodas such as Shwezigon, a prototype of later Myanmar stupas; Wetkyi-in- Gubyaukgyi, a 13th century cave temple with interesting fine frescoes; Ananda Pagoda, one of the finest, largest and best persevered in Old Bagan; and next to it you visit Ananda Ok Kyaung, one of the few surviving brick monastery buildings from the early Bagan period and Htilominlo Temple which is known to be the last Myanmar Style temple built in Bagan.

Afternoon's sightseeing highlights include more of Bagan’s impressive pagodas such as Sulamani Temple built in by King Narapatisithu, Dhammayangyi Temple, a massive later period temple with the finest brickwork in Bagan and Thatbyinnyu Temple which towering above the other monuments of Bagan.

Later you will enjoy Bagan famous sunset at the best place selected by your guide.

Day 7 - Visit Mount Popa and Transfer to Mandalay

Today you will depart Bagan to Mount Popa. It takes about 2 hours by car. Along the way, you will see a number of rural villages. Mount Popa has been a sacred place long before the monastery was established. Legend said the mountain is home to 37 ‘Nats’, traditional spirits not unlike saints that are worshipped throughout Myanmar in tandem with Buddhism. The mountain, along with the monastery on a cinder plug near its peak, is a very popular pilgrimage site and the shrines are scattered on its slopes.

Continue driving to Mandalay, and you will arrive in the late afternoon. The former capital of the country, also named ‘City of Gems’, is the 2nd largest city and the economic centre of upper Burma. Check in the hotel and the remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 8 - U Bein Bridge

In the morning you will travel to the ancient royal capital of Amarapura. Here you will visit Mahagandayon monastery, which is a school for young monks, and the nearby U Bein Bridge. It is more than two centuries old and at 1.2 km is the longest teakwood span in the world. 

Afternoon sightseeing includes the highly revered Mahamuni Pagoda; a gold leaf hammering craft shop, Shwenandaw Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings; Kuthodaw Pagoda, renowned as the World's largest book for its 729 stone slabs containing the entire Buddhist scriptures, and if time permits Mandalay Hill for a view over the city and Ayeyarwaddy River.

Day 9 - Mingun & Inwa

Today you will go to Mandalay jetty where you will take a short and pleasant ride upriver to Mingun, the site of what would have been the world's largest pagoda had not King Bodawpaya died in 1819 thus halting all further work. Later an earthquake in 1838 split the monument and reduced it to partial rubble. Nonetheless, the mammoth base of the unfinished pagoda is still a very impressive sight as we approach from the river.

Nearby you can also visit the Myathein Than Pagoda, Mingun Bell, moved from the zedi after the earthquake and now hung in a new shrine building. It is said to be the largest hanging un-cracked bell in the world. Return to Mandalay.

Afternoon sightseeing to another former royal capital, Inwa which was founded in 1364 and which lasted nearly 400 years as a royal capital. Highlights include the ‘leaning tower of Ava’, Maha Aung mye Bonzan, a brick-and-stucco monastery, and the elegant teakwood monastery Bagaya Kyaung.

Day 10 - Full Day Visit Pyin Oo Lwin

Drive to Pyin Oo Lwin which is 42 miles away from Mandalay (about a one and a half hours drive) and was a former British Hill Station.The town was originally renamed Maymyo after the British Colonel May who established the towns beautiful botanical gardens built by Turkish prisoners of war during WWI. It is on the way to Lashio and to the Chinese border town of Muse.

The sightseeing highlights of Pyin Oo Lwin include Purcell Tower, which was a present from Queen Victoria; the morning vegetable market; the Botanical Garden; Naung Kan Gyi Paya where you can see a panoramic view of the town. Drive back to Mandalay.

Day 11 - Head to Nyaung Shwe

Have breakfast and enjoy your free time until your guide come and escort you to airport for your flight to Heho. Upon arrival, your guide will escort you to Nyaung Shwe town for hotel check in.

After refreshment, you will start your sightseeing by long tailed boat to Inn Paw Khone Village where you can see lotus and silk weaving industries. Next visit Nanpan to see the traditional boat making, cheroot (Burmese cigar) making factory. And then continue our visit to Phaung Daw U Pagoda, which is the most highly revered monastery in the Inle Lake area. It houses five ancient images of the Buddha that are completely covered in gold leaf. And then visit to Nge Phe Chaung monastery and floating gardens

Nyaung Shwe is a charming town often overlooked. There is a trving local market and easy access much kind of activities such as cycling, trekking and vineyard visits. There is an excellent range of local restaurants and cafes and even a champagne bar there waiting for you to have a taste. 

Day 12 - Indein Temple complex

Today’s your Inle Lake sightseeing start with a visit to Indein and it enchanting 17th century pagodas. To reach Indein Temple complex and the nearby village you will take a boat ride up a small scenic creek that runs into Inle Lake. Then continue visit floating village of Ywama, the lake's downtown and largest village on the Inlay Lake, where you can see the gold and silversmiths workshop.

Day 13 - Red Mountain Winery

Today you will visit Red Mountain Winery. The representative from the vine yard will explain the process of wine making like harvesting, crushing, pounding, fermentation and finally how they store finished products in wine cellar. You also have a chance to taste their genuine Western Style Myanmar Wines.Wine tasting and lunch will be served at the vine yard. And then continue drive to your Nyaung Shwe hotel or jetty.

Day 14 - Ngapali Beach

Transfer to Heho in time for your flight to Thandwe in the morning. Upon arrival you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel at the Ngapali Beach. Ngapali Beach is definitely one of the most impressive beaches in South-East Asia, let alone Myanmar. It is a series of long bays of fine white sand leading down to crystal clear water.The remainder of the day is at leisure.
