I did this tour in July 2018. We were a family group of 5 and purchased a 13-day trip of Vietnam and Cambodia through UME in Australia. Our first time to use UME and they are great with the service. Our accommodation was 4 star and other than our 6 there were only one other couple in our group. The hotels were all excellent, our drivers always on time, our guides good (especially Eric) and the tours organised always enjoyable. Had a great short trip to Halong Bay. Our tour guide was quite good in explaining the history behind the bay. Very informative and educational. There are beautiful restaurant and eating points around. It's not far from Hanoi and near to Haiphong and Thai Binh. Tomb of Tu Duc complex comprises many well appointed and preserved buildings that are certainly worth a visit. If you're looking for a private expedition that's completely personalized to you, look no further. This tour was worth every cent and I would definitely consider booking another tour the next time I visit China.
My husband and I just completed three separate tours and had an incredible time with each one over the course of the week we spent in southeast China. They were recommended by a work colleague and we had little else but that and social reviews. Experience was outstanding!!
