The experience of this Indochina tour was incredible. I especially appreciated the service provider, Mr Alex, our tour guide, Mr Saiyamarn, Ms. Surangrak and Ms. Naruekron, they were super super helpful that goes beyond my expectation. Mr Alex was our contact person who planned and tailored made the 12-day CAMBODIA & THAILAND tour for me. Pick up service was also provided even beyond his working hour. They had a very sophisticated service. My guides in each destination were so helpful that everytime I back to the car, he/her would offer us iced towel and water with his/her warmest smile and greeting. The architecture ruins in Angkor Wat was stunning! Angkor Wat and the other Temples as a group near Siem Reap are one of the top 10 historic and architectural wonders of the world. Two days was enough for an overview. For the temples in Bangkok, we spent one day on them. I think the price and atmosphere is not the best but it's worth visiting if you are in Bangkok for the first time. We visited the Natural Elephant Park in Chiang Mai as a volunteer. Those elephants were cared for, never forced to do anything for the tourists. We are very satisfied with the private tour with UME Travel.
Our Holiday was 14 days and we wanted to experience as much as we could in Southeast Asia. Alex was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and extremely personable. We enjoyed him so much we asked if he would do our multi-country tour. He even customized it so we could start on Siem Reap and end the tour in Phuket. Angkor Archaeological Park is something you have to experience once in your life (sooner rather than later)! there are so many wonderful sights. Each temple is unique and a photographer’s dream! It was very hot so had better to take plenty of water for walking around. Tonle Sap Lake offered an insight to culture in Cambodia in deed although the lake itself is very brown and murky. Taking a boat ride through the village allowed you to see exactly how the Cambodians there are living. It was amazing to see that they can go about life by boat and we even passed a primary school that was floating. I did not think it was offensive and the people living there were all very accessible, friendly and willing to talk with you. Patong Beach was the most popular while is dirty and mostly unswimmable due to the tides and currents in the rainy season. We visited Phi Phi Island. The view was amazing with blue water and hundreds of fish swimming around even though it was the low season (it rained on the first part of the trip). It was a whole day swimming, snorkeling and my 1st time swimming in sea. Because of the weather so it might be hard for people having seasick such as some of my friends :))
