A great family trip with a good balance of time spent on organised tours and time to do your own thing.

The itinerary was fantastic. China is a big country and the travel can be a bit hectic at times. Most of the locations were generally well chosen. Yangshuo was the absolute highlight. What a beautiful place! We saw most of the highlights of China and it was a great educational experience for the children. They made lots of new friends as did the adults.

This trip certainly does cover the highlights from sights to the experiences encountered. The sights include the Great wall, terracotta army, gardens and buildings. Unforgettable moments, astounding sights and fantastic memories! The culture, the sights, the food, the variety, the people are incomparable and so refreshingly surprising - each day just brought new memories and new wonder.

First I will say that the guide, the driver, and the quality of the car provided were top-notch. Elaine, the guide, has a degree in history and was able to provide the kind of rich historical context I wanted on this occasion. The visit to the terracotta army was, of course, the main purpose of the tour, and all of this went well.

My friend and I really enjoyed our private tour! We enjoyed all of the historical knowledge that we learned from our guide. This tour is great since it includes seeing the Great wall and Li River but also allows you to customize the remaining sights that you want to see.
