You Can
- Extend/cut down length
- Adjust activities to your interests
- Change a hotel
- Everything you want
Day 1 - Welcome to Philiphines!
Today you will fly to Manila, which is the capital of the Philippines and is the home to many significant architectural and cultural landmarks of the country. On arrival, your private guide will welcome you at the arrival hall and transfer you to your hotel with a private car and driver. Your guide will help you with luggage and hotel check-in and ensure your arrival is worry-free.
Day 2 - Manila Discovery
Your full-day private tour today will start with the Casa Manila Museum and the San Agustin Church. Afterward, you will take a ‘calesa’, a horse-drawn carriage which is still being used as a form of public transport, to the Manila Cathedral.
You will then walk to Fort Santiago and Rizal Shrine. Continue to see the bizarre Chinese Cemetery, the oldest district of Manila-Quiapo, and the vibrant Binondo in Chinatown. Your last stop is Makati, the top-notch shopping, many dining districts.
Day 3 - Head to Baguio & Baguio Discovery
Today, you will head to Baguio with a short stop at Bacolor. Bacolor town is among hundreds of towns and villages, which have been devastated by Mt. Pinatubo's eruption in June 1993. Proceed to Baguio (about 4 hours' drive), the summer capital of the Philippines, and the gateway to the Cordillera, 1,500 km high up in the Cordillera Mountains.
You will visit Burnham Park, Mines View Park, Camp John Hay, Baguio Cathedral, Tam-Awan Village with reconstructed Ifugao and Kalinga huts and also a venue for art exhibits and workshops, Woodcarver's Village, Saint Louis Filigree Shop.
Day 4 - Head to Sagada & Sagada Discovery
Depart for Sagada via the La Trinidad Valley. Stops can be made at Bell Church where on request you get your fortune told by one of the priests. The scenic drive along the Halsema mountain highway will give you breathtaking views of the vegetable terraces farmed by Benguet tribes.
You will explore Sagada, the quaint little town with its towering pine trees, hanging coffins, subterranean caves used as burial grounds by the natives, eminent limestone cliffs, and nearby scenic falls. Other stunning destinations are Bomod-ok and Bokong Falls, Danum Lake, and Weaving Shops. Hike through simple trails which lead to some picturesque summits.
Day 5 - Banaue Rice Terrace
In the early morning, you will be driven to Bontoc along the winding mountain trail. Bontoc is the mountain province's capital and crossroads. Your private tour today will show you the Bontoc Museum, which was founded by the Belgian sisters who have been active in the area for decades.
Afternoon, drive to Banaue. The spectacle is breathtaking. Whole chains of mountains terraced from top to bottom for the cultivation of rice sculptured and curved from the steep mountainside by the Ifugaos with their bare hands and crude stone implements centuries ago.
Day 6 - Banga-an Village
You will head to the village of Banga-an with a stop at a viewpoint by jeepney this morning. 2 km further at the junction is leading to Batad, and then meet the Ifugao Village folks. In the afternoon, you may want to trek to Banga-an Village from your hotel to visit the wet market and witness a typical Ifugao market day.
