Day 1 - Welcome to Philippines!
Today you will fly to Manila, which is the capital of the Philippines and is the home to many significant architectural and cultural landmarks of the country. On arrival, your private guide will welcome you at the arrival hall and transfer you to your hotel with a private car and driver. Your guide will help you with luggage and hotel check-in and ensure your arrival is worry-free.
Day 2 - Manila City Tour
Your full-day private tour today will start with the Casa Manila Museum and the San Agustin Church. Afterward, you will take a ‘calesa’, a horse-drawn carriage which is still being used as a form of public transport, to the Manila Cathedral.
You will then walk to Fort Santiago and Rizal Shrine. Continue to see the bizarre Chinese Cemetery, the oldest district of Manila-Quiapo, and the vibrant Binondo in Chinatown. Your last stop is Makati, the top-notch shopping, many dining districts.
Day 3 - Tekking Tour of Taal Lake and Volcano
Head south through the Manila’s suburbs to Taal Lake and Volcano. Reputed to be the world’s smallest active volcano, last erupting in 1965, it sits, rather uniquely, within a large crater lake, on an island, within another lake! Hop aboard an outrigger boat to cruise across the water to Taal Volcano Island. Trek uphill to the rim of the crater for impressive panoramic views across the green crater lake, to the mountains in the distance and down into the center of the volcano itself. Visit the heritage town of Taal: one of the best-preserved Spanish colonial settlements in the country, home to some beautifully restored 18th and 19th-century ancestral houses, as well as the imposing Basilica de San Martin de Tours, allegedly the largest church in Asia.
Day 4 - Fly to Bohol Island
Enjoy your free time until your guide comes and escort you to the airport for your onward flight.
Today you will fly to Bohol. On arrival, your private guide will welcome you at the arrival hall and transfer you to your hotel with a private car and driver. Your guide will help you with luggage and hotel check-in and ensure your arrival is worry-free.
Day 5 - Chocolate Hills & Tarsier Sanctuary
Today, you will visit the highlights of Bohol, including the UNESCO site of the Chocolate Hills, the Tarsier Sanctuary for those awesome little creatures, and a cruise on the scenic Loboc River.
Day 6 - Free Day
Day of leisure. Relax at your hotel or explore the surrounding area, or join more resort-programmed activities.
Day 7 - Dumaguete Discovery
You will be escorted to the seaport for your ferry boat to Dumaguete.
Today, you will take a city tour of Dumaguete, including the Silliman University and Anthropological Museum. Next is a visit to the Hikaban Cooperative and Clay town Pottery where you can observe how locals weave pina cloth and craft earthenwares. Continue to the well-landscaped Freedom Park, the new Aqua Sports Center, the bustling public market, and the cathedral bell tower built-in 1811 to forewarn the townsfolk against Muslim marauders.
A quick trip down south of Dumaguete takes you to Negros Oriental Arts and Heritage which houses the stonecraft factory and showroom in Bacong, as well as the century-old Bacong Church. Lastly, you will ride a calesa through the stretch of Rizal Boulevard, and visit the souvenir shops along the downtown strip of the city.
Day 8 - Dolphin Watching & Manjuyod Sandbar
Less than two hours away from Dumaguete lies a pristine, 7 kilometer stretch of premium white sand known as the Manjuyod Sandbar. Start your island escapade with an early hotel pick up and you'll soon be on your way to Bais for a chance to see majestic dolphins. If you're lucky, you may spot some pantropical spotted dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, and maybe even some long-snouted spinner dolphins! A friendly boat guide will then bring you to the Manjuyod White Sandbar, where you can picnic, swim, sunbathe or just chill out. Also called the Sumapao Shoal, the sandbar has an estimated 600-hectare total strip area, including the submerged portions. On the island, you can find native wooden houses built on stilts, which look like they are floating on the sea during high tide. Shortly afternoon, you'll hop back on your boat for a hearty lunch as you cruise back to Bais. You’ll surely be refreshed as you head back to your hotel after a fun-filled day of exploration.

Leo was a fantastic guide! He really knows how to make the most of your time. He kept me busy seeing things all day, and when we'd finished exploring the sights for the day, we spent extra time shopping, eating, and just walking around town together. I learned so much! I hope to arrange another trip with him soon!

Wow, I have not left for the tour yet, so I am only commenting on Dawson, the agent who helped us organize the tour. He has been wonderful. He put together a great package for us, listened to our desire for some free time, paid attention to what we wanted to see and the level of hotel we wanted. He also exercised great patience when I decided to make a few changes late in the process. I can not recommend him highly enough!
