Day 1 - Welcome to Malaysia!
Today you will fly to Kuala Lumpur. Welcome to Malaysia! You will be welcomed on arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and transferred to your hotel On arrival in Check-In to your Hotel.
Day 2 - Kuala Lumpur Discovery
After breakfast at the hotel, you begin your tour of the Malaysian capital. Your tour of Kuala Lumpur will take you to all of the city’s attractions including the gold-domed King’s Palace, National Monument, and National Museum built to commemorate the Malaysian Struggle for Independence. You can also load up on souvenirs at China Town before heading to the serene National Mosque, the Independence Square or Anglican Church, and the iconic KL Tower (with entrance to observation deck) that adorns every Malaysian postcard.
Day 3 - Genting Highland & Batu Caves
Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel and leave for the Genting Highlands hilltop resort. Admire the stunning views as you ascend to the resort by cable car. One of Malaysia’s biggest tourist draws, Genting has something for everyone. Visit the indoor theme park (on your own), perfect for adrenaline junkies of every age. You could even try your luck at Casino de Genting, the biggest of its kind in the country. En-route visit Batu Caves, home to one of the largest Hindu temples outside of India dedicated to Lord Murugan.
Day 4 - Malacca & Animals
You will take a private transfer from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca. Located at approximately 150 Kms from the capital city of Kuala Lumpur, Malacca (also spelled Melaka) is the capital of the coastal state of Malacca, in southwestern Malaysia. At its center, Jonker Street, Chinatown’s main thoroughfare, is known for antique shops and its night market.
Later in the afternoon, we visit Melaka Bird Park, it has the largest aviary in Malaysia and will be the only bird park to house such a large collection of Malaysian bird species. With nearly 700 bird species calling the lands and waterways of Malaysia home, the bird park aims to protect every species and educate the public by hosting a number of educational and recreational programs.
Next on our list is Visit to Melaka Zoo. Melaka Zoo is the second largest in Malaysia & is home to a variety of birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians including the Malayan gaur, serow, and Malayan tiger.
Day 5 - Malacca Discovery
Today you will visit Malacca which is about 150 KM from Kuala Lumpur. You will visit A Famosa Gate, built in 1511, which used to sprawl across a whole hillside but now only a lone gate (Porta de Santiago) remains. Originally constructed by Alfonso de Albuquerque (who led the Portuguese invasion on the Malacca Sultanate), the remains of the fort is now a preserved whitewashed gatehouse and is located downhill from St. Paul’s Church.
After visit the Castle, Museum, Cathedral, Boat Museum and Mosque in Malacca, your last stop will be Jonker Street, which is best visited during the weekends as it is a commonly acknowledged fact that visitors worldwide flock to this particular street in Malacca for its vibrant night market. Well-organized with a wide array of stalls, polite and friendly hawkers, ubiquitous bargains as well as live music coursing throughout the area, Jonker Walk comes to life in full colour with a lively street party-like atmosphere.
